| Experienced guides offer informal lectures, slide-talks and hands-on programs to schools and community groups. Slide presentations last between 30-45 minutes. Speakers can bring touch-its for students to handle. This service is offered free of charge to school groups. A fee is charged for presentations to adult groups. FREE TRAVELING PANEL EXHIBITS
These three-panel, freestanding exhibits - each with a hands-on materials display stand - are designed for use in libraries or schools and are free. Museum staff members set up and take down the exhibits. Month-long loans are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

SUITCASE EXHIBITS
Two cases (one large and one small) are filled with artifacts, photographs and text that can be used to create a museum display in the classroom. Rental fee for the suitcases is $35 per kit for a two-week loan.
Suitcase exhibit topics include:

Each suitcase exhibit set includes:
- A teacher manual (includes other suggestions for hands-on activities)
- Historic photographs and contemporary photographs by Jerry Jacka
- Materials for one hands-on activity
