Guild Library Book Sale
Experienced guides offer informal lectures, slide-talks and hands-on programs to schools and community groups. Slide presentations last between 30-45 minutes. Speakers can bring touch-its for students to handle. This service is offered free of charge to school groups. A fee is charged for presentations to adult groups. FREE TRAVELING PANEL EXHIBITS
These three-panel, freestanding exhibits - each with a hands-on materials display stand - are designed for use in libraries or schools and are free. Museum staff members set up and take down the exhibits. Month-long loans are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Exhibits include:

  • RAIN
  • Following the Sun and Moon: Hopi Katsina Dolls
  • Mayan Life: Source and Symbol
  • Phoenix Indian Boarding School
  • We! Four Southern Tribes of Arizona

Panel exhibits are only available in the Phoenix metropolitan area for a one-month loan. Please call 602.251.0268 for availability and booking.

SUITCASE EXHIBITS
Two cases (one large and one small) are filled with artifacts, photographs and text that can be used to create a museum display in the classroom. Rental fee for the suitcases is $35 per kit for a two-week loan.

Suitcase exhibit topics include:

  • Navajo
  • Hopi
  • Tohono O'odham
  • Mohave

Each suitcase exhibit set includes:

  • A teacher manual (includes other suggestions for hands-on activities)
  • Historic photographs and contemporary photographs by Jerry Jacka
  • Materials for one hands-on activity
  • Additional books and audio tapes of songs
