Fun should always be a part of fundraising! Each year, the Heard Museum toasts its mission and its donors with three fundraising events: the Heard North Gala in the spring and Moondance and the Golf Classic in the fall. Yes, these events are designed to raise funds but, just as important, they introduce the museum to new friends. Each event is an important revenue stream that supports the operating budget annually.
Heard Museum Golf Classic
Monday, November 14, 2011
The Heard Museum Golf Classic has raised more than $1.2 million for Heard Museum North Scottsdale since 1995 and is one of the premiere golf tournaments in the Valley. Since its inception, it has been held on the South Course of The Boulders Golf Club in Carefree, Arizona. The day of golf in this outstanding setting is highlighted by the incredible food, networking, awards and tee gifts for all participants.
The Boulders Club is nestled in the tranquil beauty of the high Sonoran desert and 12 million year old granite boulder formations that dot the landscape. Golfers and visitors alike are drawn to the peace of a spectacular natural setting and the vast serenity of the terrain with its precariously balanced boulders silhouetted against the Sonoran sky.
The 2011 tournament takes place on Monday, November 14. A foursome is $4,000 and following play will be a cocktail reception and award ceremony.
