Teacher Appreciation Month -- June 2013
June 1-30, 2 013
The Heard Museum is thanking K-12 teachers from Arizona
schools with a special offer in June. During Teacher Appreciation Month, the
Heard will give teachers with valid school I.D. a 50% discount off the adult
admission price of $18. This offer is good for the teacher and one guest.
The
Heard offers free tours for schools, so this offer is a great way to learn more
about what the Heard has to offer teachers. The museum’s educational
programming meets Arizona State Standards for American Indian culture and
history instruction, and is also a great place for kids of all ages to learn
more about the rich artistic expressions of Native peoples.
Spend the day
enjoying the Heard’s 11 exhibit galleries, take one of several public tours to
gain a deeper perspective into the exhibits, have lunch or a snack at the
Courtyard Café or the Coffee Cantina, and browse the selections at our boutique
bookstore Books & More and our award-winning Heard Museum Shop.
